You would have been satisfied to keep Canada another year even though he had was toxic with the staff. I initially felt Ed O should have been forced to keep him until leaks trickled out that he created a chilled environment with the staff. This is a do or die year for Ed. The season record will determine his longevity. Hope it works out well and exceeds expectations. If not then we will be looking for more than just a coach.
