I actually thank my man Nick but Les has done a serviceable job.

I'm somewhere up in the student section for this game.

I played high school ball against a couple of those Tigers: Greg Lafleur was an All-State QB for Ville Platte if I remember correctly, and Danny Soileau played Halfback for Elton.

That game sure brings back some memories.

I'm somewhere in that student section as well-my second year at LSU.

My ears were still ringing from the jet engine that was the USC game.

Can you imagine an SEC team today with an OOC schedule having games against both USC & FSU?

Interesting thing about this FSU game is, if we had won, Bobby Bowden probably would have been our next HC. This FSU win Convinced him that FSU Could be relevant. He had already been ContaCted about suCceeding Mac.

At the 17:15 mark they pan over 3 of the girls on the homecoming court. The one in the middle was in my Speech class. I had forgotten what a smoke show she was.

Hard to believe that Hokie is gone.

Two of those girls on the LSU homecoming court were cheerleaders. Sandra Cadriel was queen (seen on Custom Security commercials these days) and I think one was Taryn Fontenot.

Noticed the band used to be able to play while plays were being run to fire up the teams, can't recall which year ncaa changed that rule but I think it was while I was in undergrad in the 80's

There weren't many cupcakes in those days. You needed all the quality wins you could get to play in a bowl game
