Aranda Defense held Clemson to 8 pts in the 2nd half and a big fat Zero in the 4th qtr.

He adjusted and was better than Venables last night.

He was dead on in saying that lots of analysts were wrong that Joe was a different qb this year. Pointed out that he was pretty much the same guy, i. e., really good already, but was put in a system that finally let him be who he already was. Of course Joe improved, this year, but he was finally given the keys to the Bugatti.

We still don’t have any disruptive DL (I’m counting Chaisson as more a hybrid LB) like we’ve had in the past. No Brockers, Kyle Williams, GD, Lavalais. Shelvin was hugely improved and plugged the middle very effectively, and Logan and Lawrence had their moments, but I’m talking big guys that can pressure the passer. Credit to Aranda for making adjustments to account for that and for telling Fulton and Stingley they had to man their islands and deploying Delpit and Stephens and his linebackers to disrupt things elsewhere

Could you imagine how many games we would have won this season had Aranda not had to overhaul the defense?

Yeah, I can........15 games. Sorry for being a smarty, but I couldn't resist.

Going into next season I feel far better about every unit.

HA! QB? What about offensive line? Maybe it will be fine, but what if Cush, Charles and Deculus all leave? Linebacker? We might lose all 4 starters. Dline? Might lose 2 of 3 starters, including our best two.
