I'm pretty sure you don't know what kaboom means.

well we are well on the way to a nose dive if something doesn't change soon this year. Miles still had the program handed to him in the best shape it had ever been. the only really comparable one would be cholly mac getting the team.

Someone said it earlier. There are fans out there that will never like or accept CLM. They say they want to win a NC. If he did, they'll say we should have at least 2 more.
They don't want to like him. They don't want him to do well. That's because they want another coach in there. For that to happen they know Miles must fail in spectacular fashion. So that's what they root for.

we're on the verge of a drop off like the string of losses in 2008

OP is based off of a ridiculous premise, and I generally like Miles as the coach, though I recognize that he is deserving of criticism on a number things as well.
Les Miles took over following a complete retooling, renewal, and resurrection of the LSU program which started under Dinardo and was cemented and elevated by Nick Saban. Miles has been a good steward of the program in that time. But using the winning percentages in this era and comparing them to the past periods is asinine. And giving Miles all the credit for the state of the program now compared to previous eras is likewise asinine and ignoring the context of the program he inherited.
Miles has not a season where he has lost less than 2 games other than 2011. If your aspirations are national championships, then that is losing too many games.

Jesus Christ. People have been screaming about the direction of the program is heading south for the last 10 years. It's really getting absurd. It's almost like many of you are hoping for it because you have been wrong ten years running. Why is it so hard to admit that the program isn't heading to the shitter and miles has definitely maintained a consistent program.
I'm sure I will get the same canned responses. But it's laughable how wrong the same usual suspects on this site have been for 10 years.

this year could end up being worse than 08. Unless we get our shite together we shouldn't be favored again against a sec west team. auburn is going to shred us up the middle for rushing yards, so will arky. Bama, Ole miss and a&m all have offenses that will cause major problems for our shaky d.

Gary Pinckle is a good one to try to lure, Cutcliff is doing pretty good, that Kentucky coach isn't bad, Michigan State head man isn't bad, Penn State coach is pretty good. I'm not saying fire Les Miles, but he needs to either look for better assistants or let them do their jobs? They need to do a better job at coaching period. What ever it takes to get a better product on that field do it and quickly. Hire some young upcoming smart assistants that can get this team playing with a passion and confidence again & can recruit with the best. That offense I know can look better then it did, I know it can. I would rather see them playing with a passion and being creative in play calling and lose games then I would barely holding onto a win and playing conservative. They will get better at playing a real game of football rather than hold on for dear life. Hire another DL coach, mayb the one Missouri has bc they play lights out with lesser talent. Mayb change that small and fast is better than big, strong and quick?

Considering you are part of the retard brigade that wants to fire the coach every time he loses a game. You have little room to make jokes about hyperbole of actual lsu fans.

Idk if you guys realize but if we kick that fieldgoal and make those 2 extra point kicks that game is tied at the end?? Or if they would try some play action with Jennings or bring in Harris to start as soon as you see Jennings is really struggling?? Just try it?? It would not have hurt a thing! I know for fact any other coach in America that has one of the best QB recruits in the nation sitting on the bench ready to play, once the starter that isn't really cemented at that spot btw is struggling, that coach would try his luck with his ready young talent. Is that crazy to think? I think it's crazy not to think about or try myself.

I don't want les fired every time we lose a game. last year I didn't say we should fire les after we lost to uga or bama. The only reason I said the clown should be canned after ole miss was because of his bumbling of the clock again. The year before i didn't say he should be fired over any of the losses.
quote:sorry I've been to more games than you. I already said I believe miles to be the 3rd best coach in our history. The premise of the op is off because it fails to take into account the environment of football today.
You have little room to make jokes about hyperbole of actual lsu fans.

When have I pumped sunshine? Anything I've ever said that favors Les Miles is something I can support with comprehensive statistics. That isn't sunshine. It's arothmetic I learned in public elementary school.

I personally am not a Miles-bashers I get ridiculed by my co workers for even liking him.So as for me its not his win /lose percentage its his inabilty to manage a game and he loses games he should not lose.Grant it it is for les than than he wins .It is his play calling I set in tiger stadum and can tell you 90 percent not just the play but who will get the ball and were they are going that has cost LSU at lest one nat championship his hard headed I am bigger than the game attitude.SO with that said I will tell you this when was in high school I went to my first LSU game ALL I heard was help mac pack because he could not beat the bear and he had a good 8 to 10 games a year winning and that was not good enught thats when we played 11 games a year not canting the bowl game.he needs to get back to coaching like he did when he came here and not play not to lose and play to win because he is respoable for the out come of the game.
Dude, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you're functionally illiterate.
