Spending the night in Albuquerque Monday night

If you’re a fan you should definitely swing by Walter White’s house Tuesday morning. I passed through there four years ago and it’s not far off I-40, east of I-25.

It’s not hard to find stories about how crazy the lady is who lives there. She really does sit out in the driveway waiting for people to yell at. If you zoom in you can see her in the driveway glaring at me as I took the photo.

Also drove by the car wash since it wasn’t far from the house.

Also, if you drive into Albuquerque on I-40 west and it happens to be dark or getting dark you’re in for one hell of a treat. The view of the city at night coming down out of the hills is amazing.

LSU spanking USC Sunday night

This honestly better happen. No more bullshitting around on these Labor Day weekend games. USC lost their QB, RB and WR production. No freaking excuses. Beat their arse or it’s another reliaquest type of season!

"The following ten states have the highest gun deaths per capita (per 100,000): Alaska (24.4), Mississippi (24.2), Wyoming (22.3), New Mexico (22.3), Alabama (22.2), Louisiana (22.1), Missouri (20.6), South Carolina (19.9), Arkansas (19.3), and Montana (19.3). The states with the highest gun deaths per capita have some of the country's highest gun ownership rates. Montana has the highest with 66.3%, followed by Wyoming with 66.2%, and Alaska with 64.5%."
What do you know? That cities have bad areas?

I live in Minden as well, but I will not be able to make the trip. I will be stuck at work.

Yes, Luxor is walking distance from stadium. That’s the one and only bright side to Luxor.

Coming from Minden he's likely to take 287 to Amarillo once past Dallas then catch I-40 to Albuquerque.

You should stop at Caprock Canyon or Palo Duro on your way back if you have time.

The UConn men's basketball team agrees with you. They had to move out of the Luxor during the Sweet 16 last year due to the condition of the rooms.

You should probably save you some time and grief later when the wife demands moving out after first night. Luxor is old, dated, dark dump that should be demolished. There are just too many other options than this. Seriously.

Doesn't sound like you will be in this smaller city but Flagstaff, AZ is in my top 3 or 4 smaller cities in America. Lowell Observatory, pine trees, ski resort just north of town, Grand Canyon a bit further north, Sedona just south a bit, etc. Oh, and N Arizona University.

100% agree. Was lucky enough to live in Flagstaff for two years while I was in grad school at NAU after LSU.

For anyone driving out to the USC game I highly recommend a stop in Flagstaff. Northern Arizona/Southern Utah is my favorite part of the country by far.
