never bet on LSU or the Saints but I understand this line completely. If anyone has seen our Defense this year, they would understand. Please...Furman pushed us around...FURMAN. BAMA will jump on LSU early, force them to be one dimensional, then blitz package Mett senseless.
I think if they force us to be one dimensional (by scoring at will) it will be slow painful 3 TD loss

What is the money line for the Bama game?

Where is +17 coming from? I've seen +12 all day.

Where are you seeing these numbers?
This is based on the point spread rating system that's updated each week with the Teams "R" & "HFV" numbers. Sportsbooks use this formula to set their lines... give or take a point or two based on perceived action at that particular book. Of course once the line opens the action moves the line.
R = Rating
HFV = Home Field Value

they will control the clock and bound the ball running, with some short passes to keep drives alive.
It's gonna be ugly.

Also at the beginning of the season LSU was a 13pt dog to Alabama. Before the Ole Miss lost, LSU had moved the projection to 10pts. Following the lost LSU slid to a 14pt dog vs Bama.

I see two problems favoring that type of embarrassment.
1.) Without any DL pressure Mc Carron will pick us apart.
2.) If our OL does not allow Mettenberger any time, we wont score as much as we will need to.
Hope to God I'm wrong.

What's the joke? I think it is about right. I hope I am wrong, but I just don't see us stopping Bama.

miles will come out feeling his way, meaning runs out of the I formation into an 8 man front, or play-action passing into a blitz. we'll be down 10-14 with 1Q time left.
but les doesn't feel he has to pass until he is down by 3 scores or really late in the game. so we'll keep fumbling around while bama is pressuring with their offense.
most likely we'll be playing the zone to make them go the whole field and score in 8 + plays.
If we go to the shotgun late in the 2d or early in the 3rd we'll score some points to make it respectable.
I think we lose by 18.

So i always find it amusing that fans think we should win every game we play in no matter what. Even though we were underdogs to UGA and now massive underdogs to Bama.
What are you even saying? There is a huge difference in thinking that we will not lose by more than 17 and thinking we will win the game. Vegas is asleep at the wheel if the line comes out at +17. They will get arse raped.
And we pushed against UGA anyway, so not sure how that is relevant to this.

lol they didn't even gain 200 yards of offense but they pushed us all around the field.

i think lsu has a better chance against bama than tam because johnny football will be able to out run us.
when lsu beats bama, tam, and ark we will be back in the hunt
bama will lose to lsu and auburn
in any case i would take lsu and 17

LSU +17 vs Alabama
Wow. Talk about ZERO respect. Hope that gets the attention of those who can make a difference.
For comparison, that' about the same as the winless Bucs traveling 3K miles to face the 1-loss Seahawks.

I have no doubt that is a legitimate resource that books use....that said, the LSU-Bama line will not be more than 14.
The line will be about 11.

That looks like a sucker bet if true. I wouldn,t touch it. If I remember correctly, the officials have given Alabama the benefit of a few calls, at critical times, lol.

Effing this. IT WILL NOT BE 17. Get real. Sportsbook had it at 12 last week and that sounds about right
