Vanderbilt: .317 with 78 HR

LSU: .251 with 55 HR

Our pitchers need to pitch a damn near perfect game this year with those averages.

Geaux Tigers though

What do you expect when Bleday has 25 Homer's and up for POY honors.

Bleday is overrated facing all that East pitching. He went 0-3 w 2 SO last night against State's rag arm

At least get the correct numbers when trying to prove a point.

No. The bottom number was opponents number.

Whatever. I’m just saying I wish batting average as a team was better this year. Geaux Tigers no matter what their average is.

And that bottom number is .251, which you noted as LSU’s in your post. LSU’s was .271 before the game tonight and is now .272

I knew for a fact LSU wasn't hitting .251, but I looked it up and it turns out you were looking at our opponents numbers. Might want to be closer attention to that.

LSU is hitting .272 with 58 homers.

Edit- I see someone else already pointed it out.

Didn't Miss St. have a fairly high team batting average?

Vanderbilt.......... .317 78
Mississippi State... .316 59
LSU................. .272 58

I included the team we beat by 10 last night as well for comparison.
