You fools who were cheering for Tenn are idiots. Our only real chance at dancing was a win over Vandy and TAMU. If we beat a tourny team and one on the bubble, and even then lose in the final, there was a very good chance that we would be in by knocking out Vandy and lowering our RPI enough.

Now all is lost. A win against Tenn does nothing. Its all about RPI. If we get it under 80 we are in. Winning against Vandy and TAMU would have done this. But now a win against a crappy Tenn won't move our RPI enough.

Do you all who are celebrating the Tenn win get this?

Our RPI is 90 we have to win the tournament. We weren't getting in with wins over Vandy and A&M. Hell i'm not 100% sure we could have beaten Vandy

Our last hope of reaching the ncaa tournament is winning the sec tournament, so who we play is irrelevant

If it was a 100% guarantee we would've been in with only 2 wins and final appearance, you'd be right. It was not a guarantee. I'll take my chances with the easiest path to the tourney championship title.

LSU's best chance is to win the tourney so you need the easiest path possible to that goal.

I think you are the fool. LSUs only path to the NCAAT is through the automatic bid. Tenn beating Vandy makes that more probable. Florida beating A&M would do the same. Go gata

It advances us to the semis. We need to win the entire tournament. A win against Tennessee gets us one win closer.

I am pretty sure you are the fool here. A win over Vandy and A&M was almost certainly NOT getting LSU in as an at-large. The at-large ship started sailing about 3 weeks ago and was officially out of sight after the Kentucky loss last week.

LMFAO

Delusional.

Our RPI is 92, we arent even close. Our RPI needs to get in the LOW 70s to even have a chance, beating Vandy who is around 50 and A&M who is in the 20s wont get us near there.

This is the correct answer.

Telling people who to pull for is a dick move....because YOU don't really know. If some of the Regular season champs win their own Tourney, then a Semi Final appearance may move us closer. How bout we just let it play out.

Our only chance of making the tournament after the loss at Kentucky was, and still is, winning the tournament.

You honestly believed that beating Vandy and TAMU would lower our shitty RPI enough to get us in?

LSU only gets through automatic bid. Our regular season sucks. So we need the easiest possible way to win the tourney. Looks like you are the only one who thinks we are in contention for bubble

I'm pretty sure we did that already by losing 13 games.

The truth is that LSU had a better chance at getting to the dance by beating Vandy and then TAMU and seeing how that effects their RPI. Because they are not going to win the SECT. Period. That is delusional. No one is beating KY.

So my point is the best realistic chance is over after the Vandy loss. Get real Rantards.

Uh, no, the delusional part is thinking 2 wins will miraculously save a 93 RPI and a resume' littered with bad losses.

Exactly. Two wins in the conf. tournament wasn't going to negate the results from an entire season. Fans of power-conf schools put WAAAY too much stock in the results of conf. tournaments. Just last season LSU lost to a bad AU team in their first game of the SECT. People went nuts here. LSU made it to the NCAAT. Ole Miss was in self destruct mode down the stretch of the SEC reg season. They then lost to a bad USC team in their first SECT game. Ole Miss played in the NCAAT.

Two wins wasn't getting LSU in as an "at large". They need to win the tournament, and avoiding Vandy may help them do so. This might really make the OP mad.... I hope Florida beats A&M!!!
