You have to take into account his coaching career and not just his coaching at lsu and Arizona. He's been good everywhere. I'm not sure anyone would get a lot more out of this team right now. Our era in conference play is terrible and that's on the players and pitching coach.

Listen, if your Jay Johnson and Braswell is your shortstop after you win the national championship the year before that means you didn’t develop ANYONE. Shortstop should be some sort of athlete, that means you had no athlete what so ever on your team from last year that you needed to go get someone who struggled and didn’t play post season baseball last year on a different team?
