If tweet fails to load, click here. 25% compared to under 2% under Youngkin. They do a quick snippet of the new board, the least shocking thing ever.

Elections Have Consequences.
And until the people making these decisions and implementing these policies feel the direct ramifications of their actions on a deeply personal level, they will never change.

Absolutely! Virginia voters fell for the awe shucks I am a folksy moderate just like Texas voters are with Talerico. Virginia deserves everything that comes with it just like Texas does if they fall for it

Did they identify the convictions of each felon released? Purse snatching is a felony in Louisiana.

Yeah. It was just purse snatchers.

This release rate of nearly one in four is a significant increase compared to the parole board under former Governor Glenn Youngkin, which granted parole to fewer than two in 100 felons who requested it. Recent board decisions include the release of eight felons in a single Thursday meeting, a group that included individuals convicted of murder, rape, robbery, and child abuse. Among those released were three convicted rapists and predators, as well as a man convicted of murder who had served 33 years of his life sentences.

Cute attempt at minimizing theft. Purse snatchers should be locked up. We’re tired of excuses.

I’m modeling critical thinking instead of taking everything posted by influencers on social media as gospel.

If you say so. You could have just asked the Google machine and avoided drawing attention to yourself.
You would be someone that Spanberger would hand select for her destructive parole board.

So tired of people committing felonies that you voted for Donald Trump.
I know I know. That’s diffe(R)ent.

Don’t yalls purses cost like multiple hundreds of dollars and probably have 200 bucks worth of makeup and a thousand dollar iPhone inside plus a credit card which implies the intention to commit identity theft/fraud plus it’s generally an aggravated assault because yall have to be threatened to give up the purse
I’m failing to see the problem with purse snatching being a felony
Funny story. One time I was at a bar and the bouncer was built like a vw beetle with arms. A crackhead looking black dude walks up to a table of fat white girls and starts talking to them while using his foot to stealthily slide the pile of purses that was under the table to where he could grab them without them seeing
At some point the bouncer picks the guy up by his neck and threw him out onto the street and the white girls started yelling why’d you do that we liked him! And the bouncer had to show them where the guy had moved their purses out from under the table to behind where they were sitting and was about to walk off with them
Both the thief and the bouncer were good at their trade

People don't go to prison for purse snatching.

Did you at least watch the video? They do describe what the felons did. It was a local news station, not Fox News or somebody from X reporting it.

You’re modeling critical thinking?! Lol that’s cute kind of like the toy steering wheel kids could play with in the car to mimic actual driving. You would fit in on the parole board quite well!! “Hey guys have we talked about why they committed the crimes and how much they have really grown in prison?”

He was a habitual offender but the purse snatch was the final straw. It is a felony in Louisiana because it a forceful act.
Odd defending 4cubbies but I call balls and strikes.
