You realize you can only coach plate discipline so much right? At some point, it’s up to the guy at the plate not to swing at shite pitches. The coach isn’t at the plate telling him to swing or take. You can blame coaching to an extent, but you can’t force someone to take a pitch when they should. Sometimes it’s the fricking players, and y’all just can’t accept that.
