I know, I'm just pointing out that along with smoking a top 20 team on the road last week, we also blew out that South Carolina team who, despite their poor overall record, was 4-0 in league play, and yet, barely anyone noticed.
I can pretty well guess that the pollsters just assumed that LSU exposed South Carolina as a fluke, and didn't want to give the Tigers any credit for actually doing something impressive by winning by that margin. Now, they all look like fools.

We're so much better than a lot of teams ahead of us. But, at the rate we're going in terms of respect from the pollsters, I'd say going 18-0 in league play might get us to 15th.
I'm not even sure if I'm joking or not. It's almost impossible to takes polls remotely seriously.

LSU is looking really good now, but the schedule does get tougher. Tennessee and Auburn (fortunately both at home) and Florida and @ Kentucky later in the season. Even next week there's a buzzsaw @ Mizzou and @ A&M.
