Yeah, you call everyone and get a headcount on support staff to make sure it could be pulled off, then when it actually happens you follow up with confirmation call.

Favorite team Atlanta braves? When did that become an option?

Don't disagree, but he was pretty convinced that this is going to happen (he was / is in direct communication with Alleva)

Emergency management officials said about 300 state-maintained roads and 160 bridges remained closed. Haley stressed the need for motorists to mind police barricades on flooded roads after reports of people moving the barricades or driving around them.
"This is not safe," Haley said. "We are doing this to protect you."

They probably have made the decision but don't want to announce it until everything is sorted out so theycan have ticket info and stuff ready.

There should be one for the cubs

When announced, you can expect there to be a significant flood relief dimension. The pub surrounding that (including alerting the media) would itself cause a delay in the announcement.

The decision isn't going to be made until the can get confirmation/rejection from locations. And the locations can't do that until they reach out to personel. So no decision yet, but it will be soon. It will likely leak before the official announcement. Too muc communication going on.

You would be a Cubs fan...

Hey dfell,
What's up with Yeulman stadium. Nobody plays football there. We could pack that dump.

I'm a bandwagon fan of whatever team is the biggest underdog that year. I don't watch MLB regular season.
To get back on topic, I'd have to imagine we will at least hear at leaked decision by tonight

I can't imagine LSU would allow that to happen.
Joe Alleva is our AD
Unfortunately...This.

Tonight or early AM. No one was given a hard deadline but it's understood that the sooner a city can confirm, the more likely it is to be chosen. LSU has already said yes.

Not reading the whole thread so SIAP, but anyone know if Athens is in the discussion? UGA is on the road, so it seems like a good backup if Charlotte or Atlanta wouldn't work out. USCe would want to play there before BR.
