Purple, who picked your colors, Barney or Grandma?

last year against USC. We still put up 410 yards against their first string D.
USC's D wasn't very good last year.
Our D this year >>>> USC's D last year.

Im pulling for PSU, but what makes you think LSU will need luck? How has PSU looked in big games this season?
Hell, didn't tOSU basically shut you out(most every PSU fan Ive talked to states your lone TD on 4th and 1 never broke the goalline)?

I don't care for GeorgiaLion or USC, but the post above simply isn't true. USC had a very good defense last year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but USC had 8 defensive players drafted in 2009. USC's defense last year was better than ours this year.

Also brought in Galen Hall (frmr Florida coach) to run offense and that helped.
What conference does UF play in again? That should tell you something about the Little 11.
As far as UT 2007, I wouldn't bring that here if I were you. Let's see, we beat that team limping into the SECCG with our 2nd team qb and D-Line due injuries and with the BCS Title out of reach (or so we thought). We then proceeded to beat an OSU team that took you 37-17 at home. Yeah, let's talk about how impressive that win over UT was. Who really needs the history lessons here?

Just a fair warning - none of the pundits gave LSU much of a chance against Georgia Tech last year. Even their coach said he was hoping for a better matchup. Score was 38-3.

It's gonna be a close game, y'all are homers, and your stadium is small

I would not be surprised if it is a close game. I will be surprised if Penn State wins.
You guys have a huge stadium. Big freakin deal. The ninth largest stadium in the country with yearly attendance figures to match, is not small by any measure.
Why don't we break this down. PA has the 6th largest state population in the US at 12,448,279. There are only 3 FBS schools in the state. Temple is a small private school in an urban area that draws very small crowds. Pitt is an urban commuter school, but draws well when winning. That leaves a pretty big pool for Penn State, the flagship school in the state. LA, by comparison, is the 25th largest state at 4,410,796 and has 5 FBS schools in the state. While the four other programs in the state draw fairly limited crowds, LA also has 1/4 of PA's overall population. In other words, if Penn State didn't have a big stadium and draw more people than LSU, you would be a complete joke, kind of like Miami, USC, and UCLA, who can't even fill their stadiums for big games.
Who is supposed to be the homer here?
