You people are insane.....like absolutely insane. OSU plays 4 teams in preseason top 14, 2 on the road. Who else is playing that level of schedule?

And I'm just looking at the #s in the poll.

They are ranked higher than anyone thought they would be and now look at the posts ahead of mine and you will see they are not satisfied with even that. I am glad but I think they are ranked to high with all the negative talk going around. We are not even underdogs any more and I hope that does not work against us. Where is Arky?

It also makes it easier to get up to the top 3 before they play Bama for the right to go to Atlanta. Anyone else agree with that possibility?

I still stick with what I have been saying since June or before, 10-3, 11-2, or even 13-0.

So according to you the tiger nation's bickering about the piss poor coaching the past couple of seasons is causing the football team to lose national prestige and as a result is hurting our ranking in the polls? Is that your contention?

I know you understand it's a preseason poll.

Have we been ranked this low in any preseason coaches or AP poll since 2000?

Yeah in 2003 we came in at 16 also. I think we all remember how that season ended.

Also I think #16 is about right to start the season.

That's about where people had us. It doesn't matter, if we win out we're in. Bottom line.

Oklahoma plays one meaningful conference game against UT and decent OOC games at Cincy and against FSU. I do wish they would go away.

LSU to name one. 6 teams in the top 25, 2 of which are in the top 3. Every team in the SEC West received votes. Not saying your schedule isn't tough with #10, 12, 13, & 14 and your other conference games, but you asked the question.

You should really get over it. Saban had his mishaps as well.

So according to you sports writers and coaches who get paid to analyze sports for a living aren’t intelligent enough on their own to see that year end and year out Miles coached teams have been sloppy and undisciplined, that they have struggled against teams like Troy State, ULL, LA Tech, and Tulane they should have defeated easily, that they have lost games to teams like Kentucky, Arkansas, and Ole Miss they should have won, and that they have won a few games more on luck then by playing well.

I mean last year more often than not when LSU would win they would win despite gaining less first downs, gaining less total yards, and while running fewer plays. Nevertheless, according to you if LSU nation didn’t bitch and moan, all of the aforementioned would go totally unnoticed because sports writers who are paid to analyze sports apparently are too dumb and stupid to do their jobs. I mean they would never even noticed that LSU finished 112th in total offense if it weren’t for all of the bitching and moaning done by tiger nation. Yeah right.

Is that a reflection of the team or the coaching staff?

Or a reflection of the past coaching staff?

My problem is this, Alabama lost alot on Defense but they are the defending champs so I have always said the Champ should be number one. Florida lost alot on Defense and their emotional leader I don't think they should be that high. I think I am ok with were we are. Hopefully the team will look at this as a challenge and rise to the occasion.

I think it's pretty fair. Do what we're supposed to on the field and we can move up nicely.

I like the 6 SEC teams in top 25.

If tOSU has to be thinking...well, we've lost to 2 SEC teams in the BSC game, might as well make it 3 in a row.
