12ish? We are currently ranked 15th in average player ratings and unlike a lot of the people ahead of us, our following commitments will increase the average as they will start to pull up the two specialist and the unheralded TE. Georgia will come back to the pack as they will dilute that insane rating of .95something and I imagine several teams ahead of us will have the same impact.

I’m not saying this class is number 1, but if we land who we want too, this is a HUGE if, there is no way we are outside top 7 and probably a lot higher

Yes, miles and his archaic belief in offenses job is to milk Clock and not turn the ball over killed us and a lot of momentum for our program and subjected us to what was the most miserable experience I’ve ever had in regards to LSU football. Can we agree to move past it?

We have a new coach and if he doesn’t succeed at a high level and soon we will have another new one. Let’s focus on the present and future as opposed to wallowing in the past.

Where do you get this from???

Alabama
Oklahoma
Oregon
Notre Dame
Ohio St.
Georgia
Florida St.
Auburn
Texas
Tenn
Penn St.

All of these teams are in position to be ranked higher than us right now. They have very good numbers this year. I think this will end up being your top 10ish (not in that order). Oregon would be first out I believe.

6 Oklahoma 92.14

12 Michigan 90.14
13 Texas A&M 89.82
14 Miss. State 89.41
15 LSU 89.22

The guys we are looking to get are significantly more highly rated than 89’s and will bring our rating up more than commits to some of the higher ranked teams. If we fill out our class with who we are targeting, again a HUGE if, we will be above a lot of these teams currently ahead of us. With everyone only allowed to sign 25 players, our 25 will be ranked higher than a lot of the teams’ 25 currently ahead of us.

If we get a top 3 class with a kicker and a long snapper in it, that would be staggeringly impressive

I agree. If they pick up the remaining highly rated 4-5 star in state guys, they will make a push for top 5.

I think a good comparison of this class is the 2015 LSU class. That class included a LS and punter similar to this class. They had 3 5 star players with Tolliver, Tyron Johnson and Teuhema. They also had Guice and Key. It finished #5 nationally, but only had an 0.8991 average.

We currently average 0.8916 but the remaining spots are going to be reserved for the big recruits that break later in the process. Expect a nice bump if/when Starks commits on July 8. We should finish in the low 90's and somewhere around 4-6th if I had to guess.

I'm assuming you're talking about all of the people that think others "hate" the coach and want him to lose. I would definitely agree, it's a miserable bunch with their constant negative thoughts.

Miami also had and ugly win over Syracuse.

What does this have to do with how LSU played against them? Miami also didnt have 3 top 5 classes in a row going into last season.

LSU is one of the most talented teams in the country. and really are splitting hairs between us and teams like tOSU and UGA.

I agree with everything you said except for this. I think OSU and UGA are a slight step ahead of us.

But as far as current talent on our team, we're certainly top 10.

I honestly could care less about #1 recruiting class. Seriously, we gonna print shirts?

What I like is a USA Today article about our potential class which will be mucho helpful in turning heads of our targets on a bubble.
So...
