Granted the design as to do with a lot of stadiums but Oregon fans in general are just loud
It's all design when it comes to Autzen. Unless you want to try and argue that 60K people are just as loud/louder than 95K

A lot of it is acoustics.
I hate to break it to ya but a lot of our noise is due to acoustics too.

I understand that. I do believe that Autzen has the acoustical "advantage" though.

this goes for all stadiums to a certain extent...but Autzen was specifically designed that way

I was on the field for the Overtime game against Tennessee in 2000. On 4th down in the end-zone. Myself and another guy covering the game were wedged up with the students pushing and surging out onto the out of bounds marker.
If you watch the replay, I think you see me hurdling the football on my way out to midfield. There was NO WAY I was getting involved in that motley mosh pit in the end-zone.
Sort've surreal to think about, but I can't remember the cheers. I just remember the mayehm as I ran across the field. I ran into Rohan being pulled down by fans...I tried pushing them off of him (he was hurting even though he was loving it) but it didn't work.
In the post-game interview room for the visitors, I remember Fulmer being shell-shocked. Incredible feeling for me personally, but he was absolutely dejected.
I was also on the field after the 1999 Arkansas game where we ended the year with Hal Hunter & Rohan throwing 12 passes but DESTROYING what I believe was a 10-win, bow-game-bound Arkansas team.
I remember being with some friends I worked with and just listening to the cheers. After all the losses, it seemed like the fans stayed a little longer to see that team off the field. It was one of the best moments as an LSU Fan I can ever recall...

the 07 florida game was so loud my rib cage was shaking. I had a little old lady sitting next to me that gave me a chest bump. CSB

Never said it wasnt loud, but its no TS.
how do you know brah? the design of the stadium makes it pretty loud. i think their decible readings are comparable to ours and actually higher sometimes.

that touchdown actually tied the game, not give uga the lead.
just for clarification purposes.
