What's ridiculous is Michigan's schedule. More cupcakes than a church bake sale. I don't want to hear about Penn St because that coach will never win a meaningful game. It's the same song and dance each year. They weasel into the top 10, and lose to Maryland or Purdue.

Jesus…Malik Nabers deserves to be in that conversation more than Milroe does. And I’m not necessarily saying Nabers deserves it, although the argument can be made.
Milroe there is absurd but he's low on the list.
No chance a WR makes it on this year's Heisman list with so many high-performing QBs and, FWIW, only 4 WRs ever won the Heisman. Devonta Smith's stats: 105 catches for 1,641 yards and 20 TDs. Last WR to win before Smith was 1991 (Desmond Howard).
If Nabers keeps hauling it in--he dropped 2 passes vs. Auburn but he's still #1 in receiving yards-- he'll be a Biletknikoff finalist. But he'd have to have 5 incredible games to break into any Heisman discussion.

023 SEC Championship Game - Dec. 2 2023 Heisman Presentation Ceremony - Dec. 9 Some ballots may be sent in early but most will still be in play for Championship week
Votes are due on December 4. Their decisions are made before the end of the season. They don’t wait until the last minute to submit votes.

Goes to show you how much one game can change things. Just ask Fournette.

You do realize that they went to 100% electronic ballots for precisely this reason?

Penix has played one less game than Daniels

Yeah - if you believe they haven’t made up their mind after the last game or the week before, you’re crazy. They aren’t going to watch a bunch of LSU games all of a sudden. It just doesn’t work that way.

Once Washington loses a game, this race will get interesting.
