I think we will see alot of true frosh playing again this year. The only redshirts that seem guaranteed are Riley, Patterson, the two QB's, Melvin Jones, a couple of the OL (Dodd and Malone), and probably Spears. I see all three DBs playing (at least special teams).

I think Barrow goes to the middle.

I wonder about Jalen Collins to Safety if someone like a Tre White looks like this years Jalen Mills.

Collins doesn't really have elite speed, but thats just my opinion.

A few things I think:

-Barrow at MLB, Debo at WLB
-I like Patterson over Neal at DE
-I think Melvin Jones could be higher on the depth chart. He's my sleeper of this class.
-I don't see Stokes taking the starting spot from Dickson
-Brazil at corner, but probably as a redshirt

RIVERS WILL BE BEHIND EITHER JENNINGS OR RETTIG BY THE FALL.

Idk why people give Rivers that much credit.

Not so sure of that, because it shouldn't matter for next year, but I do think Jennings and Rettig are better than Rivers.

Patterson's not in there at all. I think he needs to develop in the weight room, but kid has great instincts that could get him on the field.

I thought Rivers was a Junior next year? (I know it says SO on the LSU website)

But if he gets backup duty over Jennings/Rettig, then we have a completely green Jennings/Rettig starting for us in 2014.

I see brazil as an slot/RB.
And I'm not so sure about having Landry on kickoff returns.. I mean, he's fast, and shifty, but we can have better people.

You are seriously underestimating Neal! the guy is a beast. For what he lacks in height, he makes up for with strength(squats 700lbs), has extremely violent hands, meanness, and heart! Kid is a worker!!

While I think both are more talented, neither has taken one rep in practice yet.

Feist won't start. Barrow, tahj and Kwon will be the LBs

The juco OL will probably start at either OG or OT. You don't bring in a juco kid to be a backup imo

Yeah, not sure what makes you think one of the freshman will jump him after just one year. Have you not learned anything from the past 4 years? I'd really like to have a guy whos been in the program for a few years come in and start instead of a first time starter again.
Although I'm not opposed to them seeing time in 2014 and if proving capable enough, take the job. But there's no way they start the season as a starter

Faniaka sigining really does perplex me, because we do always start a JUCO but in his case I dont see where

Unless Williford has lingering effects from the concussion, I don't see Les not starting his senior. Fanaika does look good on film, but the only way I see him moving into the starting line-up is if Turner moves to center.

His senior didn't start last year until a bunch of injuries...
