Both Mizzou and So. Miss came in as teams that had very good offenses and very bad defenses. So, I was more impressed with how the LSU defense played in those two games.

vs. Mizzou - Most offensive yards in an SEC game (634)
most first downs in a half since saban era as well.

I'm just saying that records are sometimes to be taken with a grain of salt.

Sounds like a team coming into Tiger Stadium this weekend.

Those people are stupid. We've played Vanderbilt 27 times. We've played MSU 82 times. We've played Kentucky 56 times. With guys like Jones, Hodson, Russell and Mettenberger at QB - with beasts like Charles Alexander, Dalton Hilliard and Jeremy Hill at RB. And we never put up the offensive numbers we did against Mizzou - this is on top of a long time, BCS championship, highest winning percentage ever coach getting canned for a shitty offense we do this.
And as for USM? We've played FCS schools and not gotten 10 yards per play - with NFL talent at every single position.
So, those people are doubly stupid.

I understand that, but are the two records that I posted to be taken as the same as yours?
Which records hold WAY more weight?

lol no they are not. They are records for a reason. Some stats are to be taken with a grain of salt. Not records.
What you extrapolate from a record is on you, but not the record itself.

Yeah, but it's so boring! I can't be bothered to to stay and support and appreciate the team, when I can go home and watch some other team while sitting on my couch!
Your mother bleaches her AS*HOLE. How does it feel going through life bleached?

Apologies for being optimistic yet again.
Nah, the optimism is great. We can only judge this new staff and approach off of two games thus far, and those games have been great from an offensive standpoint.
I think the "pump your brakes" attitude is understandable as well though. We had 10.3 yards per play and 638 yards last year vs. Texas Tech. We've had similar nights before, albeit not quite as good. With the yards per play deal against USM we had two one-play drives for 143 yards combined. That isn't exactly repeatable, but impressive nonetheless.

All it proves is whoever kept calling the toss dive for so many years--Cam or Les or both-should give LSU all the money back.
