I’m really hoping Burrow comes here. He alone can stop the free fall the program is in and immediately put LSU back on the map. The 2019 season could really be magical. Burrow is legit and would be the best QB LSU has had since Flynn

O hauled in our worst class in a long time. So I think questioning if he still has it in recruiting is legitimate

You can talk all you want (aka be a great recruiter) but what you do on the field as a HC speaks the loudest. You can’t be a great recruiter HC and lose to Troy. Those things don’t work together. Orgeron’s reputation as a recruiter came when he worked under great head coaches. Overrated imo.

Of Burrows three great options, Texas, Fla, and LSU, the LSU Tigers are a perfect team to sign with, they have the most talent and Burrows fits their greatest need.

I can honestly see him going to any one of those 3. Each one of those schools needs a QB. Hope the staff can reel him in.

It amazes me how alleged fans cannot see that this young man needs to find a home where he can show his skills in the next 1-2 yrs so he can move on to the next level. That is what is in it for Joe. Why would he come to LSU?
1. LSU has best potential open QB spot right now.
2. LSU plays in the best division of the best P5 conference. If you dont believe that - who put two teams in the playoffs last season.
3. LSU is loaded with WR's. Arguably the best set of WR's in the country on any one team.
4. LSU is low on RB's this season and will need to throw the ball more.
5. LSU plays Bama, UGA, and Auburn this year. Great showcase stage. Opportunity to play on prime time TV
6. Like it or not Ensminger is well respected everywhere except TD for his knowledge of the passing game. Like it or not Jerry Sullivan is well respected for his knowledge of passing game/routes.
7. LSU only has three significant weaknesses in personnel plan. QB experience, RB's, and CB depth.
8. Tiger Stadium is in the top ten size stadiums in the country and is legendary.
9. LSU has had the most players in the NFL last few yrs. Etling got drafted by the Patriots...

We lost to a good 10-2 mid major team without Guice, Key, Lawrence, and a couple of other starters. Saban lost to 2 bad teams in UAB and ULM. Try again chief.
