he's that reckless. His law firm has also been in the middle of bankruptcy proceedings and is being accused of filing a fraudulent bankruptcy filing and hiding millions of dollars

Nike shares dropped on the tweet. What I cannot figure is his angle and how he profits.

He's probably just the public face of the message at this point.

He probably has deep Democrat contacts within the Justice Department especially the Southern District of New York. If I had to bet, that's were he's getting his tips. He's probably trying to work an angle here to represent someone against Nike because Nike is the one with deep pockets.

Actually, the case against Avenatti doesn’t mean he doesn’t have legitimate info against Nike, it simply means he tried to extort assets from them to stay quiet before he went public with this info

Makes for a very interesting situation

Now we know his angle:

quote:

Michael Avenatti, porn star Stormy Daniels' former lawyer who briefly considered a bid for president, is set to be charged Monday for allegedly trying to extort Nike for $15-$25 million, officials at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said.

It also means he isn't getting a dime from Nike, and money is all this guy cares about. He has another pending bankruptcy lawsuit where the judge thinks he's hiding money and may have fraudulently filed a bankruptcy action to get out of testifying in another case where he owes a prior judgment of $10MM. The guy's life is falling apart around him and he seems to be grabbing at whatever straws he can. I'm honestly surprised he still has a law license.
