Big difference...Saban was head coach at only one school(Michigan State) before he went to LSU....Kiffin has been head coach at 5 different jobs and hasnt won shite.

Agree zero chance Saban comes out of retirement. And I don’t think Kiffin is likely to come here (or Florida nor Penn State for that matter).

Youre right...my bad...I forgot about Toledo....so he had two jobs before LSU. Lane Kiffin has had 5 head coaching jobs and hasnt done shite. Even Brian Kelly coached a team to the National Title game and Brian Kelly sucks. Lane Kiffin has never gotten close to coaching a team to the National Title game as head coach....ever. Urban Meyer is a proven commodity. Kiffin is another shot in the dark/risky move.

Honestly think this was his plan all along. Coaching 3 or 4 years after gradually forcing LSU to fire him by underachieving and being average. Each year he can just continue coaching like it’s a 9 to 5 job or less with a lot of delegating until LSU decides they can’t continue being average for rest of his contract or risk much worse and longer harm to the program.
Kelly stopped living and breathing football the day Woodward gave him that 10 year guaranteed contract.
