Why? That's a good thing. This fricking guy lost to Navy, SMU, and Memphis. He's a legit coach but why the frick would we pay him Saban money?

Orgeron's offer for his salary along with salaries for OC and DC is tough to pass up. It shows his desire is to be the LSU coach and not a money grab

It's also fictional, since he can't actually guarantee anyone will come, no matter what he says. GUYS could give nonbinding assurances to help O get the job, then back out later with no consequences. There is zero way to enforce it. I mean, take Kiffin, did he really commit to coming to LSU in the middle of a BaMA championship run? I doubt it.

DESIRE to be the LSU head coach is nearly IRRELEVANT. Again, LSU should RARELY hire on that trait unless all else is equal, and we know with Coach O, that is literally the only thing he has POSSIBLY over other coaches. Remember, Coach O not too long ago HATED LSU.
