up the middle...

Can somebody please get the offensive play callers to NOT run up the middle after it fails to gain an inch 5 times in a row. The ONE time they spread out 5 receivers, Burrow basically walked in. Seems pretty hard-headed,and stubborn to me.

It wouldn’t hurt to let Tory line up at FB and clear a path off tackle for Clyde on the goal line. At this point it would almost be like a trick play for LSU.

I suggest giving a great deal of thought to your decision to make a 5th post. Your decision on this 4th post was not a wise one.

I know you'll get hammered for the post, but I do agree to an extent. Running up the middle on 3rd and short was not very successful vs Auburn considering their strength is their interior DL. You have to test the middle and CEH did break off some good runs. I'd just avoid it with regularity on 3rd and short if I'm playing Auburn.
Bama is not as stout in the middle so it's dependent on whether Brady/SE think they can exploit Bama's interior. Either way, you can't completely abandon running between the tackles.
