The fact they all state that moo state is a running team evidently means lsu has it in the bag according to so many morons here.
No one is saying this and you're the moron for inferring it. Saying we need at least 50 to win is kind of ridiculous when State's a ground and pound, defense first, Les Miles team now that isn't trying to score 50 points a game.
You got caught not knowing what the frick you were talking about and it hurt your pride so you're going down fighting, I get that.

I'm convinced half of you MFers want State to win because it will bring you satisfaction to say I told you so and bitch about LSU.

You are a fricking idiot. Not your. You are. Not even you're. YOU ARE A frickING IDIOT.
There, I feel a little better now.

LSU struggled last year against fsu
They gave up 24 points to FSU. FSU scored more than 24 points in every game except their games vs NC State (17) and Wake Forest (21).
quote:
southern put up 17 on lsu
Southern's offense put up 10, 7 of their points came off a pick-six. All their cores came after LSU had scored 58 and the final field goal came with no time left on the clock.
Anyone who looks a the Southern game last year as an indication of a problem with LSU's defense is an idiot.

Barring a complete collapse by either, I don't expect either team to score that much.
LSU puts up 30+
If we allow MSU to run the ball, it could be interesting

?? more than half the people on this site have no idea what they’re looking at on a football field and it’s so obvious!
Neither OL pushed LSU around, LSU took themselves out of position by over perusing to make big plays. You can’t play that way and I expect them to get that cleaned up. Fix gap control, get LBers to fill gaps, tackle well and we’ll have a decent defense. Not super great but good enough for our offense.
I’m more worried about the run game in this one. We will need a good one. Hopefully they find ways to run the ball in the first half, get MSU guessing and then hit them with big plays. Can’t just run straight up the middle every time. I like Diggs, Emery and the freshman backs. They know how to set up blocks and hit the gap with some power. Need to use our big WRs and TEs to get physical if the run game struggles at first. Open it up then run. The passing game will thrive off of both. Do these things, win game. Easy lol.

I mean, I don't see either team breaking 50 on the other. 30s, yes.
I'd more be worried about a balanced MS State attack. A lot are assuming Rogers won't be a factor.

Yeah, that's definitely asinine. Of course he will.

In two games 1 sack, for one yard. Not exactly lighting it up with pressure.
Posted on 9/13/23 at 4:58 pm to dinosaur
You’re right but I will add that wingo was unblockable in the first half against fsu. If maason gets back in shape then we will create pressure up the middle and everyone knows how qbs hate that the most

The lack of a pass rush is what I am most concerned about.

A good rush is needed to protect the defensive backs. Staff must get that improved. The line play has been a disappointment

maason gets back in shape

Maybe not until Saturday. You can bet they will try to exploit our secondary! Wouldn't you? Not saying they will be successful or not, but I bet you they try.

Msu will gash our d for 300+ rushing yards and it ain't even close
