I read here that the players do not have any say and that the leadership marketing team have more to do with it.
Trying to get the entire team to agree is frivolous anyway.
Do you think that teams that don’t change their uniforms much have their team decide?

Alternates are fine
However, it’s junking the shark when our traditional uniforms weren’t even worn a majority of the games last season

We will do whatever the athletes want because it’s all about the athletes. They deserve to be the number #1 priority. More money, more transfers, more control. Give them anything and everything they want. Make them earn it? No they deserve it. Make them tackle on defense? No that means they have to put on pads in the summer. Can’t do that, might get heat exhaustion. They are special because they are good athletes. . Those all whites look way better for their tik tok dances anyway. Who cares about traditions? Half of them will be in the portal by the end of the year.

Players need to stop being given a choice on the whole jersey helmet combo.
Focus on football and win games, that’s it, it’s not a fuking pageant.
Let our Athletic department decide what’s best for our brand and let the players focus on the above.

For all of the "traditionalists" who don't actually know the history, when LSU first went to the current color scheme and uni layout, there were the three colors used. Even a gold lid, gold jersey, gold pants. I won't argue against your opinion on fashion, but at least understand that the yellow jersey isn't new and is "traditional".
