You're not making an argument. You're being an a-hole. He made a typographical mistake, and that's the only thing to which you responded.

If this were a real argument. You just lost because you did not refute even one of his arguments.

You merely pointed out a typo.

You've been linking us to a post cpt bengal made saying "the university of lsu" trying to do the exact same thing. Its clear he meant the university and not the athletic side of LSU.

You are losing on the "real argument" side of that as well.

Clown.

"can't" was the wrong word. should've use "shouldn't"

There seems to be two factions posting in this thread.

One is focused on discussing the issues.

The other wants to deflect by making ad hominem attacks and pointing out grammatical mistakes. Inded, the other faction has ceased to argue the issues at all.

But seriously...what would be the counter argument..."Nuh uh!"

To suggest that LSU Football and the potential success of the offense in particular was not a MAJOR driving force in why LSU fans seemingly pushed each other out of the way in a race to see who could be the first to cast JJ under the bus is simply astounded to watch.

A large portion of LSU fans were HAPPY to hear JJ was involved in something because for them, it was the surest way to have him removed from under center, thereby improving their football watching enjoyment. Couple that truism with the attempt to label all those standing up for JJ as only looking out for the best interest of LSU Football and you've got yourself some pharmaceutical grade hypocrisy...

You are on a roll brotha.....said the same thing earlier in the thread and some jackass wanted to comment on my grammer and sentence structure.....not the issue at hand. The majority of people are using this incident as cover for their ongoing disdain for this kid.......it's sad.

Tbob didn't allegedly kick someone in the head

No, he just got behind the wheel of a car drunk, put the safety of innocent people around him in danger, and was arrested for doing so.

Most reasonable/non-perfect people understand that as things stand, this case will never see the light of day in a court room as a felony.

If there is a good chance of this resulting in a misdemeanor finding or less, should that cost ANY player with no prior legal/school wrong doings his Sr year or most of it?

I truly believe many here wanted a sweep no matter the truth

Then it would be easy to provide examples of that. As I recall it, you had a rush to judgement by those who were VERY vocally already n the Lee camp, and you had others standing back waiting to see how things played out.

quote:

I also feel that many here chose to defend JJ based upon either nothing, or a scenario created in their own head.

I defended JJ as I would anyone else when their side of what appeared to be an altercation had yet to be heard. And no point did I suggest he was innocent, but at the same time I thought it was absurd to declare him guilty on the same lack of information. Others seemed more than happy to declare his guilt...

quote:

The only facts, whether real or fabricated, were coming from the vitim's side. Of course, these facts were immedietly met with BS calls when nothing was coming from the player's side at all.

They aren't fact if they were fabricated... At best at the time they were merely statements, and statements from one side of an altercation. The prudent thing for all concerned would have been to listen intently to those statements, and then wait to hear the other side. what happened was those with a vested interest in seeing JJ no longer under center declared him persona non grata and wanted him gone.

quote:

In the end, what happened? Two guys were charged with felonies just as was predicted on day 2 or 3 of this whole deal.

Even if it turns out EVERYTHING went down EXACTLY as Lowry and Long told the officer on the scene it did, in NO WAY would it make the actions of the fans I'm talking about worthy of admiration. they STILL would have jumped the gun, running with what amounted to rumors at the time for no other reason than a personal desire to see a change in personnel on the field.

Like I said before, lsu is distancing themselves from JJ for a reason.

They will let the judicial system play it's role

But don't expect this to be over with until maybe next year

Atleast I don't sit here all day claiming to have this legal insight into the situation when repeatedly you have been proven wrong. I am actually almost feeling sorry for you at this point, but then I remember how much of a POS you are and then I go back to laughing at your sorry arse.

Most under talked about side of this entire issue. JJ has graduated and is on in school taking classes to be able to play football. The educators might just cut ties with him all together from a school enrollment stand point, they have done their service to him by giving him an education, the bad press is not worth it to the world of academia

JJ graduated in 3 years at the age of 20?

Assuming that you've done nothing but post facts (bullshite), you've posted an incorrect fact . . . again.

Look at my post history. My first post in this thread was not a response to CptBengal.
