His teams can ALWAYS run the ball. Obviously he’s elite at developing QB’s and spreading it out but go back and look at his offenses the last 7/8 years, always able to run the ball , which is what we’ve lacked severely since 2019. The more you think about it the more this is a perfect fit/grand slam hire. I can’t freaking wait for Clemson next September

Kiffin, like Spurrier, is known as an offensive guru who excels in the passing game.

Kiffin, like Spurrier, gained his status as an offensive guru because he knows how to run the damn ball.

Kiffin, like Spurrier, knows the importance of knowing how to run the damn ball.

Kiffin realizes that a good run game opens up a good passing game

Spurrier had quite a few backs make the pros. Fred Taylor anyone? Harvin was a RB and WR.

The Clemson fans in South Carolina already were saying at the game they were nervous about the return trip to Baton Rouge with Brian Kelly

I can only imagine what they’re thinking now

Not sure why you say he is underrated on this. He is well known for his offenses ability to run the ball. His teams routinely are among the top NCAA rushing teams. In fact he is one of the best in balancing run and pass effectively.

Not sure when and where he put all this together.
