Brian Kelly reminds me so much of how I watched games under Les Miles. Nervous the entire game to lose to someone less talented than us.
That said, Vandy is as good of a team as this year's LSU Tigers. Anyone thinking we will win by double digits is either wearing purple and gold glasses or doesn't know football. If we win, this is a quality win for a road game.
Comparing who Vandy beat and by how much? Go look at LSU's schedule so far and who else played those same teams and won by a much larger margin. You won't be feeling good about playing Vandy after that.

The melt will be glorious when/if we lose to Vandy. Taking them for granted is a huge mistake. The name on the helmet might be Vandy, but this team is different. Diego is a dog and right now, id take him (his will to win) over Nuss all day.
I have us only winning two more games: Arky and W Kentucky. Until our O-line gets fixed, it will be as struggle. Dudes getting pushed into the backfield. I have not seen anything that inspires confidence.
Hope I’m wrong. Flame away.

quote:I hope you are right but I seriously doubt if we win, it’s by more than 10 points. The offense has not improved much if any and likely will not miraculously this Saturday.
We going to roll these guys. Offense will move the ball

LA Tech would be the second best team Vandy has played. Clemson and Florida, as flawed as they are, are light years better than anyone Vandy has beaten.
It’s possible Vandy is good but a lot of their reputation is based on boat racing a truly dogshit VT team before people realized VT was that bad and beating SC without Sellers.

Without Diego, Vanderbilt is just another Vanderbilt. I'm confident Blake will have this one figured out.
