Has a player every had a serious injury where the bench came and checked on them without getting ejected? Just seems like it has to have happened before without ejection, but perhaps not?

Agreed, bullshite to call the flagrant foul on the ULM guy. Neutral court, likely gets called on the LSU player.

There was never any threat of a fight, the players ran to the side of their teammate after he took a nasty fall on his head. Like I said originally, at some point common sense has to prevail.

Yes and no.
Like you said this isn’t football. The sec and LSU doesn’t exist to ESPN and the media unless we are ranked. We will get relegated to the sec network at best with Dane Bradshaw calling our games and none of our highlights being shown until we are ranked.
It certainly matters for recruiting and program prestige

Initial impressions are spot on with what Wade said pre-season. This team will get it done differently.
I don’t think they will shoot quite as well from FT line as last year (Smart and Cam were so good there) and they will struggle at times from 3 point land. But…they will compensate with better rebounding and defense across the board.

Wade's first season (I believe) Edwards played for SLU. Came into the PMAC and was stroking 3s all night. The General went out in the off season and got the transfer.

LSU basketball looked great last night. Watched the game and was very impressed with the talent. Hoping for a deep run this year in NCAA tourney
