I don't know how this became a Nic. St. thread...but...Anyone that has seen ULL play in the last couple of weeks with all of their weapons in place...You would realize that they are for real his year. I am not a ULL basketball fan, I just put it on my profile to piss LSU fan's off. They don't realize, we are all from the same state...We should live in harmony..."relaxation music playing in the background"

everyone in the pmac knew they were going to run out of gas at the end of that game and its exactly what happened. you can't play like Nicholls did with that little depth and expect to beat a LSU team that was rotating players all night. Yall ran out of gas at the end because we completely wore yall out.

Damn, you sure know how to spot the "hot" teams. I bet LSU is shaking in their boots after seeing the Cajuns lost by double digits on their homecourt against North Texas.

.....You got that right. ULL lost to Johnny Jone's led North Texas team at home by 14 points.

Open mouth, insert foot.

I dont think it was a good argument, but i think they have the players to compete. I played high shcool ball with Travis Bureau and all he does is get better. Brady offered him a scholly but he wasnt too fond of him as a coach, to say the least.

The most trash heard in this state comes from ULL towards LSU. Most LSU fans I know would like to see UL win when they are not playing LSU. On the other hand it always seems like there is party in Lafayette any time LSU loses.

The worst thing about these matchups is that LSU has nothing to gain. It doesn't mean anything to LSU if they beat a ULL/Nicholls State/La Tech, etc. but it would mean the world to a school like ULL if they were to knock off the Tigers.

I must admit, that is quite a feat considering you live in Dallas. Did you attend the N. Texas game last night in Lafayette? I'm in Lafayette quite a bit, I might catch one or two games this season.

Look out LSU!

ULL stayed within 2 points of an extremely talented Sam Houston State (3-5 before tonight's game).

This is absolutely a moral victory for our friends in Lafayette. A very close "out of conference" loss like tonight to Southland Conference (very very deep this year) foe in the Cajundome, will really help the Cajuns get the nod over other NCAA At-Large bubble teams in March.

Cajun fans should be nervous that ULL might be looking past LSU (12/31) to their monster match-up against the University of Denver (1/3).

At least the ULL Cajuns rocked the UL Warhawks earlier this month. UL will have a chance to get revenge in Monroe on 2/12/09.

I'm sure the author of this thread is currently working on a bevy of excuses for ULL's back to back home losses to North Texas and Sam Houston State. The Cajun faithful is pretty good at making up excuses, they have at least a dozen for why their 6-6 football team who lost at home to UTEP with 0 wins over BCS competition was "snubbed" from the post-season.
