All the ULL players wanted to go to lsu so I’m sure beating lsu is more satisfying than beating south al.

We are the closest In-State rivalry that y’all have in Baseball, and Softball. Tulane but don’t have a softball team like we do.

The coming weekend series against South AL is more important than this game was. That is fact.

We’ve always had close games against South Alabama in Baseball, and Basketball, and over the years have become dog fights every time we played.

Multiple fights. We've been the two best teams in the conference. They had a very hatable coach for a long time. Benches regularly clear. Very intense series every time we play. It's a ton of fun.

Multiple fights and the two most dominate teams in the Sun belt over the last 30 years. Like I said LSU fans don’t know and have no reason to care but it’s purebred unadulterated hate between Cajuns and South Al in baseball. We went 5-0 against them my senior year and it was the most satisfying part of the season by far

Yeah, I'm hoping like hell we win that series this weekend. This has to be one of the first times we play them in a non-conference series, but I love it. We should play every year, even if the conference doesn't schedule us

They've been before. If they keep up their current pace they'll be there again before us. It's a huge win for them, and just a mid-week for us. What is wrong with them celebrating a win? If we were serious about being better than them we'd offer a weekend series, but we all know the ramifications of losing that are far outweighed by the benefits of beating the sisters of the poor schools on weekends and then being able to hide behind the cowardice curtain of claiming this was simply a mid-week loss.
