The only trips out of all those you listed that sound fun are Colorado & ND. I’m certain most Georgia fans would rather go watch their team play in Baton Rouge (including a trip to Nola) than in Stillwater Oklahoma lol

You're still just not really getting it, and yes stillwater was a total dump. I'm not saying NO isn't fun or that the lsu trip overall isn't elite (it's my favorite away trip by far and I've been on a frick ton). My whole point was that uga would never do at LSU like they did at ND and others, becuase it doens't offer the "once in a lifetime" component. That's all. Hell I'm 32 and this will be the 10th time I've seen us play LSU in person...that's a good bit different than going to see the first ever meeting between ND and UGA on either home campus. I know people last year that didn't attend a single home game because they basically threw everythign they had on that ND trip. I don't see the same thing happening to go to LSU.

I live in Atlanta and have a lot of UGA friends coming down, but they dont have tickets. Most are just coming for a New Orleans trip and to take in the LSU game day atmosphere. That said, I expect them to still have 8-10k fans at the game, similar to what we had in Athens back in 2013.

I see what you mean. The only road trip I can see your point 100% true is Notre Dame. The rest are mediocre road trips. It’s not like those others are blue bloods

Colorado incorporated a Denver trip (similar to chicago with ND) and Arizona State was just a unique fun experience. And UGA had never in our history played at any of those venues before that time.
Ok State was more of a "ok let's go get this over with and go home" kinda thing, I went because I wanted to but yeah nobody is really planning a year in advance to spend time in stillwater.

In addition to Eason, their expected third string QB transferred after spring practice and the current third string QB is a walk-on. As a result, Smart has been limiting the runs by the QB's in games where they are not being challenged.
LSU only has 2 scholly QBs and our OC/HC is NOT limiting our starters running or playing time when game is in hand.

And according to at least one interested party, they might just do it.
No LSU fan will be selling tickets after we whip Florida's arse this weekend.

And do we just forget about the thousands that have already been sold before this weekend?

Simply put, playing ND in Southbend is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an SEC fanbase.
LSU has played Notre Dame in South Bend 4 times in my lifetime.

I've been to all of them that we've played since '99 yes that's correct..do you think I'm lying? I've been going to games since I was 3 and have already mentioned going to tempe/boulder/stillwater/nd..the 2 away trips to LSU in 03 and 08 really aren't that far fetched.

that poster may have a been bit hyperbolic but that was the first time UGA had ever played there. In 2019 it will be the first time ND has ever played in athens as well.

10 years ago I’d have laughed off an UGA attempt at taking over Tiger Stadium as a completely ludicrous. Sadly, the Tiger Stadium experience is a far cry from what it was in the not so distant past. I would not be shocked to see UGA fans accomplish their goal.

Georgia fans are coming. I know so many that are bringing campers and tons of people. After seeing tailgates and crowds at tiger stadium this year I don’t think it’s too far off for Georgia fans taking over. 2003 fans >>> today LSU fans

Thinking of posting on stubhub my RV parking pass and 4 club seats for $10k

Exactly. When LSU had their fire sale on tickets before the season began, you can guarantee that plenty of UGA and Bama fans bought their share.
