I think a lot of it is based on how well he played as a true freshman. I don't think he has made much progress since then. He's a bit streaky but when he's on fire he throws a great ball.

georgia fans' obsession and defense of fromm is getting a bit weird at this point....
like he's a good quarterback. the coaches probably handcuff him and it's likely affecting his confidence. but jeez, he's just not consistent enough to be considered some all-world college quarterback.

Fromm has dropped to the end of the 1st round or second round. He's still a good player with below sec average receivers.
This thread is definitely full of hyperbole. Watch the games. Ive seen him play bad twice in 3 years. He throws an unbelievable back shoulder fade and he's got the intangibles. We would be lucky to have Fromm next year. You put Fromm in this offense, this year, and you wouldn't have a big drop off really.

a lot of it is scheme. Fromm plays in a very conservative offense. Burrow (at least this year) plays in a modern, open offense.
Put Fromm in LSU's offense and he'd have similar stats.
And don't get me wrong, I LOVE Joe Burrow.

All u have to say is south Carolina or last year's score vs them. They will shut up or it will trigger them. Either way it's worth it.

Georgia is a lot like us last year. Just because you run a lot of shotgun 11 personell, doesn't mean it's a new school, wide open, spread offense.
It's about the different bunch formations and 5 wide, and a lot of tight ends split out that constitutes a true spread offense. Then add in the rpo and you're in a new school spread tempo offense. The tempo is important in the true spread
