After watching that 2003 team dominate ULM in the first game, I knew that year would be special because I didn't see a weakness anywhere on the field.

I was impressed after the Arizona game

I feel like it just happened yesterday. I was there in the student section, 15 yards from the TD catch. Skyler Green was so fast on that play. After the game, he said he ran a wrong route. Lol. That TD catch had the whole stadium exploded. Great game.

Not sure how we lost to a Chris Leak led Florida team at home that year. He was a true FR too.

Turnover city in critical moments.

Defense struggled to handle passes out of the backfield.

A serious wake up call for that team... They pretty much dominated everyone the rest of the year..........

My favorite game I've ever attended. Close second is Auburn 2001.

I was babysitting my five month old nephew at the time. I got caught up in the game and he rolled off the bed and started screaming bloody murder

Fortunately no harm done

I had never seen the Gameday from that morning. DVR these days sure makes it nice.

My dad gave me some cash to find tickets for me and my friend. We were in 7th grade at the time. A guy sold us 2 student tickets and told us we'd get in. We give the tickets to the ticket taker and he explains that we can't get in because we don't have ID's. I told him that we bought them from a student and that we were told we'd get in. He said "Well, these are in the student section..if y'all wanna sit there..go ahead." The student section went nuts when Skylar Green caught that touchdown right in front of us. That's one of my best memories in Tiger Stadium.

Everything just felt so natural back then. Everyone out there was just there to have a good time, and prepare to kick Georgia's arse! I camped out that night as well. Was 16 years old, and that was the first time I ever got drunk at a football game. Wonderful time! Nowadays, it's just people out there, scared to get too crazy because they'll be judged, and young people taking selfies and putting a "#" behind everything.

. UGA was expected to be a juggernaut that year and made the SECCG. In which LSU fricking rolled them to emphasize it wasn't a mistake. It started the expectations we have now.

Yep, after the game some Friends and I went to the Bealle or whatever Casino it was then (back when it was actually good and the hotel was good). There were Ga fans everywhere, and they were all telling us how we would see them again in the SEC Champ game, and the best team didn't win that day. I think I remember Mark May saying LSU couldn't beat Georgia again. haha. Well next time around, LSU destroyed them.

Was in my second year of law school. My buddy who is from the Midwest and is an actor in LA was in and was sitting in the student section with me. He had a major role on 24 that year and was easily recognizable. Some of the students were crowding around him and he wanted to bail early. I told him no way in the world I was leaving at the start of the 4th. Told him he would have to walk home without me so he decided to stay. When SG scored he went more nuts than me. He was screaming and chanting the entire time. He still to this day talks about Tiger Stadium and how that is one of his favorite games he ever went to.

A few weeks after that game, I was talking to dad on the phone and we were talking about the SEC CG against UGA.

We kept saying, "It's tough to be a team twice in one season." We were nervous and I watched that game on tv.

David Greene got sacked more in that one game than he did the entire season.

That was awesome.

Miss you dad.

Florida torched us on that HB pass up the middle for a TD. Ole Miss and OU both had it open against us later that season.

The only hole in the D that season. It was there in certain circumstances.

Two things from that...

First, was that I had actually made that Richt quote that Corso held up. Like literally made the graphic and the quote on the Monday or so before the game. Richt had said something about the other Death Valley in response to a question and I took it and bent it a little to make it sound more negative and made the graphic and dropped it on Tiger Roar...where it ended up getting printed out and plastered all over the locker room I later found out. Not my intention and was made just as a joke for the page...so I was kind of stunned stanidng on the PMAC steps seeing Corso bring that out and say that he had confronted Richt about it. Felt kind of bad to be honest...

Two...the large Clayton for Heisman sign held up after the piece on Clayton was mine and you can sort of semi see me holding it up if I remember correctly...

Obviously the game was electric, but my fondest memory of that day was after the game milling around near the PMAC steps while GAMEDAY finished up only to have Saban show up and do a quick interview. The crowd was really loud as he got up there and as son as he started to talk, it all stopped and you could hear a pin drop. Mr. Buckeye even mentioned how quiet it got so LSU fans could hear him talk...

You would think that the athletics department would take our advice and maintain tradition.

Its not like we are old folks home residents complaining about how it was when we we kids. It was only 12 years ago!

It is ok to let the natural progression of the game dictate crowd interest.

Best sporting event I've ever attended bar none. Got the tickets from a guy standing in his brothers wedding. Needless to say, he was PISSED.
