Sort of an insult to Jackie Robinson, to put his name on that little place.

The eight-foot high fences are 330 feet from home plate down the lines, 370 feet in the power alleys and 395 feet in straight-away center field. A warning track surrounds the grass field. The padded backstop, built into the base of the stands, is 55 feet from home plate, providing adequate foul territory behind the plate.

They must not have much of an attendance

They don't and never have. Years ago when UCLA came to Baton Rouge they played in front of more people during the regional than all their home games combined.

LSU brings more than what their "grandstand" holds to regular season away games. I have no problem with UCLA being a National Seed and hosting a regional, they deserve it, but, c'mon....playing in that stadium for a Regional and Super Regional is a joke. If they give 600 tickets to the three other teams, that's half the attendance....i mean...WTF?

Well one thing for sure....there wont be any intimidation factor when the Tigers take the field...thats for sure....

I can see LSU fans taking over that place....very easily....
