Cholowski will without a doubt wind up playing pro baseball; his name with 'ski' ending assures that! McDonald and the other announcers were doing all they could by blowing his name up every other breath!

they did not want another SEC on SEC title series like 2017 and 2023 with us
This is nonsense. The top 8 was littered with SEC teams that could have made it through and played each other. It just so happens that 3 and 6 made it through.
If there's one sport where the SEC Isn't being conspired against its baseball.

Cholowski was excellent in the field but I have to believe his hitting stats are inflated due to lesser competition
Cholowski is not going to transfer to the SEC but if he did. He would easily hit .350+ and 15-20 HRs. He had a rough CWS just like Jones has had his struggles at times but its ignorant to dismiss the kids stats as a "lesser competition" inflating his stats.
He would be our SS with Dickinson or Milam playing 3B and the other playing 2B. Kid is elite.

I truly believe they would be middle of the pack SEC team maybe even a below .500 in SEC play type of team.
They would have been better than Mizzou, better than SC, and everybody else is a toss up. They made it to Omaha, so give them credit for that, but during an SEC season, I really don't know if they win a series against the likes of Kentucky, Oklahoma, MSU, and Bama. aTm would just be a matter of when they played them.

Honestly they put off some “just happy to be here” vibes. I wasn’t too impressed with them. Would have rather faced them in the finals than anyone else.

If there is no “SKI” on the end, what is the challenge?

I agree they weren’t overly impressive.
Just remember they are full of sophomores. Next year I expect them to be back

Has to be real depressing for Texas. UTSA sweeps you on your home field then that UCLA team sweeps UTSA. Yikes.
Oh yeah, I forgot they were #1 at some point

They were not impressive against Murrary State either. I disagree on their pitchers. They have a plethora of average to below-average guys. If they played in the SEC they would get blasted and their team ERA would be significantly worse than it was. I'm willing to bet they'd be at the bottom half of the SEC. Their entire bullpen looked like midweek guys including their starters.
If I had to pick a team in Omaha who didn't deserve to be there, it's UCLA. They rely purely on luck with the bats and match ups. If you have a bad defense, they will get lucky and based on their speed and slow rollers in the infield. All 5 of their runs on LSU was as lucky as it gets. Williams comes in and gives them 2 runs in the 8th. You could see the disgust on his face because they hit his balls so pathetically it allowed them to keep getting on base.
