If he has to showboat/taunt in order to try to strip a ball or try to tip a ball he has bigger problems than just trash talking

I don't ever nitpick on this board and i don't post often anymore but when see people backing up these actions i gotta speak. The people saying the sideline pose is okay would shite their pants if opposing team players were on TV doing that after a big play against us. FACT

what i'm saying is, IF he can't play the game without talking trash then he might want to move on from football. IF he all of a sudden sucks after he quits talking trash then something’s wrong. i personally don't think that's the case, and imo it doesn't make him a better player either. obviously some people don't mind it, some think its unnecessary so people are going to disagree. If someone to believes that all of a sudden it's going to get into his head (should he stop trash talking) and he won't be as good they’re crazy. My reply was to someone who thought it would negatively impact his play.

I'm confused. I'm being serious. Do you think he's over the top or he was ok when he was on camera?

Much like Trindon in '08 after that long return.

i was just fricking around with that response. i hate ou, but i thought it was neat when stills gave the #12 after his td. honestly, i don't mind what tm did when the camera was on him. he wasn't talking shite or anything. i just hate it when players talk shite to other players during the game. tm did it before the game as well. much like simons response to the wvu players at the end of the game. it is what it is though.

At least there are some posters that can admit they're wrong from time to time.

I have no bone to pick with you. This whole "he's a thug and talks smack" is getting out of hand.

Look at the threads. You'll find it.

he's not a thug, it's not like he's out selling dope or anything. i'm just a modest person. i remember when i was in hs (playing baseball). our ss was talking shite to the pitcher during a game. the next time he was up at bat, the guy "beaned" him (sp). a few of us on the team told him that's what he get's for running his mouth .
