However, and a big one at that, this shows that he hasn't been serious about his road back to football. It's the mere principal. If he was serious he would have busted his arse to show he's doing everything in his power to prove he's worth a second chance

not true. it just shows he hasn't focused on bench press the last year. If he runs sub 4.5 noone will care about his bench.

All LSU players should "tank" the combine, just so they could fall further down the draft into the Saints hands for great value.

I just don't understand even doing the bench if your TM. Surely he knew about how many he could do. I am sure that wasn't the first time he tried it. Why even do that to yourself if you know you can't get 10.

Reminds me of Iverson's rant about practice. Apparently Tyrann doesn't think that weight training is important, which should sit oh so well with coaches who would otherwise consider a football player with off the field issues. Does he consider film study equally unimportant?

Reminds me of John Mason's line from The Rock:

"Your best? Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and frick the prom queen."

Thanks for the correction.

Yes. That's exactly what he is saying. I bet all TM7 has to do is look at himself long enough in the mirror and his physique just magically appears that way after a few minutes.

Any other stupid fricking observation you want to add while bashing one of the most entertaining LSU players to ever take the field? Or would you just prefer to take something else he says out of context?

LOL.

shite. So this "look in the mirror" method I'm using to attain the height of 6'2" isn't gonna work out for me.

Well frick. And to think I paid $99.99 in four easy payments for that system!!!

Lighten up Francis. It's a bad thing to tweet, not my personal indictment of the man.

According to some on here, all LSU coaches, players and recruits read the rant.

jesus christ on a cracker. are you actually suggesting that tyrann mathieu doesn't work out?

he had a poor showing that day, at that time, made a sensible statement about it on twitter to try to deflect attention from the poor showing, and suddenly every rantard armchair psychologist comes out of the woodwork to diagnose him as being unmotivated, etc.

i hope tyrann dominates. until being a CB involves bench pressing a football while in coverage, i couldn't give two shits about how many times he can press 225. that's a metric that is more interesting for evaluating lineman. if he has a good shuttle time, i expect you haters to come back on here to congratulate him.

see you then! k, thnx, bai!

Sounds like this is coming from a guy who can only bench 225 4 times!

This tweet scares me, most football players will tell you that while the games are technically are won on the field. But it all begins in that weight room. If you arent busting yo gut in that weight room, you can forget winning. I guess he thinks because he's a db he can go along just by pure athleticism. Wait til a guy like adrian peterson runs straight into him, he would have wished he spent a little more time in that weight room. Best of luck though
