Mo Claiborne ran a 4.4 and a 4.5 at the combine.

It's all about instincts and reflexes. TM7 is a ballhawk. He will excel at the next level. Best of luck to him. I will be rooting for him!

Period. He will be a steal if he's there in the 3rd. Either way, he will be a factor in the league for a long time.

I really liked watching him play. He had a nose for the ball and when we needed a big play he managed to provide it. His off the field antics hurt him and Lsu but hopefully for his sake he has got his head on straight. I wish him the best, i can't see why anyone here would want to see him fail. He isn't perfect for sure but who the hell is?

Hopefully he's serious about making up for his mistakes. Pulling for him.

amazes me how so many people on this site want him to fail

Probably because he let all the coaches, his teammates and fans down when he repeated made bad decisions.

i don't think that is the case at all. i believe most aren't getting their hopes up figuring they've done that already, and it was the same results... they will believe it when they see it...

a 4.47 hand timed 40 isn't all that impressive. he'll run a 4.55+ at the combine with that number. honestly, people just need to accept the fact he's gonna be a 4th round+ pick. he has a ton of question marks as to what position he'll play and he doesn't have the natural physical advantages to make up for it. add that to his off the field behavior, you have yourself a late round draft pick.

1+.
In addition, one has to ask the question--who was on the clock? That's where the objective laser clocked 40 comes in to play. Sure the 40 time is overrated, but it's ONE of the measurables the NFL looks at. It's possible for a hand timed 40 to be slower than a laser, but that's not usually the case. I want to see TM succeed, as well, but this 40 time doesn't really help him.

just because it is hand timed doesnt mean that it is slower or faster than the laser time. if he ran a 4.47 with the hand time he could run a 4.37 or a 4.57. you never know

Tyrann will be around all of the other 12 LSU players in the combine this whole weekend. I have a feeling he will get back in that comfort zone and really let loose on the drills and timing. I have a felling he is going to turn some heads this week.

Pre 2012 season, he looked the quickest, smoothest, and fastest of the defensive back players.
