Rehab doesn't have the greatest success rate the first time around, so I'm told.

Do you know him personally? Or just know people close to him?
Posted on 10/25/12 at 11:09 pm to Cap Crunch
I recently got to know him personally a few months ago

Are you saying there was a previous incident with hatcher/bryant/jefferswag in nola ?

You have to feel sorry for Tyrann Mathieu's Parents. They had a kid who had all the skills and the kid just keeps fricking up!

We all have freedom of choice in how we live our lives. TM has lost sight of his boundaries.
TM obviously has some real problems and he clearly needs to go to rehab. Not just drug rehab, mind rehab. What he is doing, who he is doing it with and why he does it are all up to him. If he can't quit the game he is playing then he needs to get help to figure out why.
Or else he is going nowhere really fast.

Nah it was his 2 buddies from nola that were going to southern and basically living with him

I wonder what's really next for him? Im sure his family is about fed up with his actions too. I guess the next thing for him would be to focus on the draft and get with a good trainer to maximize his ability to get gainful employment in the NFL.

I've been following this from the start (I'm the first response in this thread) and I still can't elieve it. This is surreal. Mathieu, JJ arrested again?!?!
I just can't fathom that those two guys, both knowing that they both have no margin for error (JJ still has that misdemeanor charge awaiting), can't keep out of trouble! I still remember that as soon as JJ was reinstated, his most outspoken teammate in his favor was Tyrann. "Our quarterback is back."

Some people just cant be helped....got to suffer consequence after consequence until they decide they are done

I guess, but seems like he had more help then most people might

He didn't really go to rehab, he had some counseling sessions with John Lucas.
Posted on 10/25/12 at 11:13 pm to supatigah
So he never went into a clinic? Maybe that's what he needs
Posted on 10/25/12 at 11:13 pm to supatigah
Rehab is basically counselling sessions every day fwiw

quote:bullshite. If it was theynwould have had a search warrant. 3 dumb frickers with no future and a really stupid motherfricker who still had a future in football but just closed the door on it. Unless Bryant takes the hit for all of them TM7 will get hurt the most from this. I really wish we would reconsider Rickey Jefferson because having JJ around the program is NOT GOOD. Selfish dick.....
This is probably something they have Ben investigating for awhile

That is about all he can do now. A lot of people are talking college but I doubt that happens. Can't see it helping him. He needs to concentrate on training and getting his shite in order for real this time.

I seriously doubt preparing for the NFL is what he should be focusing on. I think he has bigger fish to fry than football

Same thing with booze or anything else that is addictive. The addict has to want to fix it. No one can do it but them. You can help but you can't do it for them.
