There is the truth
There is spin
If what you are saying is true, Don't think for a second that LSU Told TM the whole truth. At best if he stayed straight they might have let him just practice for the bowl game if it was anything but the BCSNC game. No way would he have been around the team before then.
There is No way they let him back near the team while team goals are still attainable. They are playing BAMA in a week to get back into the BCSNC race, TM was an after thought until today.
I am sure the thinking was Let him go to class this year, see if he gets his shite together. If he does, let him workout with the squad in the offseason, quietly reinstate his Scholly over the summer and give him a fresh start next season. Obviously that Is all gone now
He took a huge shite on a lot of people today, first and foremost himself.

Am I allowed to trash Jordan Jefferson now that he is a former Tiger? If so he is the worst thing to ever hit this program. Period.
Dumbest person ever for sure

So is it safe to say f#ck JJ now w/o fear of being put in timeout?
I've never banned anyone for calling out players based on what they do on the field, FTR...I will hide the post or delete the thread, though. I don't have a problem with people calling current or former players out for things that they do off of the field.

Meh, now he almost has to get away from Louisiana as quickly as possible to salvage his football career, probably for the best for him.
Not for LSU of course.
Someone will let him play football again.

I ain't mad atcha
Just remember this a huge business, and TM was an employee that betrayed his employer's trust. They probably told him a lot of things to try to motivate him to stay straight. Truth if it is, they are not going to jeopardize the public perception and integrity of the business for one employee. That is where the "broke university rules" thing comes in. Miles was reminding everyone that this was not about TM or himself, this a big picture issue and the big bosses stepped in.
Now in the real world he would have been in voluntary inpatient rehab or fired. Since this is a public university they put the onus on TM to prove himself as trustworthy and he failed.
So in effect he fired himself

I'm sure its been brought up in this thread, but it pisses me off that the whole rehab thing was obviously a PR move. I really wanted to believe that he had figured it out and was taking care of his problem, but apparently not.
Guess I shouldn't have expected more
