Oh and let us not forget the BS call against aTm that stripped him of what should have been his first career TD.

He'll have better stats after 2 seasons than plenty of past AA DBs had in their careers.

Dude has been an impact playmaker since day 1 at LSU. Tyrann Mathieu should be the posterchild for LSU recruiting and Miles' talent evaluation. 2 star with no elite offers (outside of LSU)

he was a 4 star on Rivals and their #1 cover CB in his class. 3 star on Scout. he just didn't have much buzz until the summer after his jr. year. shut down his recruitment after accepting at the LSU camp.

Ed Orgeron didn't want anything to do with him when he was recruiting for LSU.

I stand corrected. Thought I read on the RB that he was only a 2 star :hester:

You do know that Orgeron never coached for LSU, right?

I compare tm7 to tebow. GREAT COLLEGE PLAYER. plays in a system designed to take advantage of his skill set. will not be a GREAT PRO. size will limit pro effectiveness. most of tm7 big plays are at line of scrimmage. at the next level he will be lined up at cb and that will DRASTICALLY impact his BIG PLAY opportunities.

I did, and I do, but I fricked up my initial post.
Doh.

I meant when he and wilson were at UT, and I completely fricked it up. :shuttingthefrickup:

It's cool. Everyone makes mistakes.

I respect Orgeron's talent evaluation, but he has passed on a few players that turned out to be solid contributors.
