I compare tm7 to tebow. GREAT COLLEGE PLAYER. plays in a system designed to take advantage of his skill set. will not be a GREAT PRO. size will limit pro effectiveness. most of tm7 big plays are at line of scrimmage. at the next level he will be lined up at cb and that will DRASTICALLY impact his BIG PLAY opportunities.
with the amount of passing going on 3+ WR sets, some NFL team may want to use him as a "nickel specialist" or just utilize him in a creative manner. you get teams drafting guys just to rush the passer, guys who get paid a lot and yet aren't necessarily every down players. someone might think of TM in a similar light .
oh yeah, are you PJ's brother?

Mel Kiper disagrees FWIW.

I'm not saying he can't play (or be good) at next level. just that his size won't allow him to stay close to line of scrimmage where he makes most of his big defensive plays. name one nfl cornerback with numerous 5 fumbles caused and 7 fumbles recovered. doesn't happen in nfl. if tm7 was 5'10 200 he could be used like "the long haired safety" from the steelers.

Every once in a while you get an athlete that transcends his physical size, with a sport IQ, presence of mind, and sheer force of will that will all carry him to the next level.
This is one of those times.

Seriously, if you're around this guy, watch your wallet.

how many passes has he batted to others to intercept and forced fumbles that other LSU players recovered?

This is somewhat on topic and didn't feel like starting a new thread on it, but does Todd McDumbfrick really think this?
I'm pretty sure the whole country has figured out who he was way before this game.

The 5-foot-9, 175-pound sophomore had his coming-out party in Morgantown, W.Va., on Saturday. He showed his athleticism all over the field and was strong against the run and on special teams. His forced fumble was a textbook strip, and his interception tipped to himself was one of the game's turning points. He had been one of the most underrated players in the country coming into this weekend -- but not anymore.

The fumbles recovered by other players are accounted for in the forced fumble category. But he deflected at least two passes that resulted in interceptions that are not accounted for in the stats listed.

Bob Sanders says whatcha talkin 'bout willis?
I can see him not playing CB in the NFL (though 5'9" isnt all that bad, there are 5'9" CBs in the NFL), but I think he'll make a hell of a FS with his playmaking abilities and hard hitting.
