It doesn't matter who they give it to. Tyrann will just strip the Heisman and recover it for a TD. The Honey Badger Takes what he wants.

Also, anyone chimed in with the fact Woodson didn't even deserve the Heisman the year he won it? The comparison is moot. Manning was being blackballed that year.

if Bama doesn't get rematch and TR doesn't win heisman that would be epic. i think TM7 is incredible, but agree that RG3 should win. Without him Baylor is <.500. TM7 always has next year..and maybe the next!

True. And Woodson won over Peyton fricking Manning

That year was a joke. Regional voting gave Woodson the Heisman.

He's got lots of competition with Luck, RG3, Keenum, etc., but he plays defense and special teams. That's a hard mountain to climb when it comes to the Heisman. For some reason, a dominant defensive playmaker is worse in the Heisman voters' eyes than someone who puts up gaudy offensive stats against inferior defenses.

If he doesn't get invited, though, that is a straight up slap in the face.

So, a panel of voters might pick an offensive player over him because that's what the want. If that happens and he does get slapped in the face, he knows, we know, and most importantly the men he plays with know how much of a gamechanger he is. At the end of the day, that's really all that matters.

he was quiet for a few weeks there, but the punt returns the last 2 weeks vaulted him back up there. Huge huge huge momentum swinging plays.

He should at least be in New York. He's the best player on a team loaded with NFL players

Just a heads up, he won't win it.

I want him too, but too much hype surrounding the other candidates

you usually only need the 2nd criterion, and he has both

Although this statement may be seen as dumb to most, I agree 100%.

When comparing every aspect of college football no other player has produced what Tyrann Matheiu. At least not at others' respective positions.

Dude is a freak of nature on the football field.

P.S. Size will not matter, 1st round draft pick for sure.

(Edit: I'm a little drunk )

He should certainly get an invite to New York.

Has there been a time recently when the clear cut #1 team didn't have someone in NYC for the presentation? Guess OSU didn't have one the year we beat them.

He said on ESPN the ref was looking at him strange haha. The Sec officiating can be blatant sometimes.
