What happened in that NC series?
PM left in Reynolds 1 inning too long and that decision singlehandedly fricked us in game 1

Yea there was zero chance to score 2 more runs because of that decision

It’s also amazing how obvious pitching decisions are with 20/20 hindsight

It’s comical how divided this baseball fan base is. Fire the coach one day, then others are saying Omaha. Is there a happy medium such as a realistic outlook?

See this is the shite that gets me. So I guess that we were “healthy “ last night because we beat the crap out of Florida, but we were “unhealthy “ the day before when Florida stepped on our throat?
Stop saying this dumb shite.
You're too dumb to explain why your viewpoint is stupid.

So you are telling me it isn't easier to convince a recruit to come to your school when you make the national championship game as oppose to not making it?

OK if you are saying that this team is going to play for it all in Omaha I will take that bet right now.

Well nuance has long been missing from online conversations

I don’t think the OPs saying this team will go to Omaha he’s just trying to put things in perspective to counter the crowd that melts after every loss. I get it, we won 5 titles the 90s and 1 since so there’s a segment of the fan base that thinks we should win every year and naturally they blame the coach, the-more years that pass the worse it gets. But the point here is you can’t judge a baseball season until it’s over.

Hey, it's baseball!

My Tigahs will snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. I have faith and confidence they will do this.

Bit'um Tigahs!

LSU has an 8/299 chance of making the CWS.

LSU has a 291/299 chance of NOT making the CWS.

Of course you would take that bet right now. Can't you see how the odds would be heavily in your favor?

If you have Henry doing what he is doing now. If you have Hill doing what he did earlier. If you have Hess pitching like he has in SEC play.

Then you have Hilliard, Walker, Marceaux, Peterson, Vietmier, Fontenot, Beck in relief.

Not sure how you can say this team isn't as good as 2017. This offense is, without a doubt, capable of scoring enough to win most games with a pitching staff that could have been. The injuries have really slowed this team down. If they can ever put it all together at some point, this team will be a force in Omaha, just like many people thought to begin the year.

I have become convinced the "negative-about-everything" posters are either fans of other schools who troll this board or they are totally miserable failures in their own life who try to make themselves feel better about being a failure by criticizing successful athletes and coaches.
