I don't know, you outlined how everyone else needs to get better but you neglected to comment on how the most important guy in the organization can improve as a coach.

Seems like a glaring omission in the evaluation of the program.

We are in the conversation, people are still talking about us and should Georgia beat Bama, we are the only team that beat the team that beat Bama.

At this point, give me a NY6 bowl birth and this season is a massive success.

O is going to have even more of his players on board next year and maybe his top choice at OC. Things going in the right direction.

Orgeron and Ensminger are off limits.

- 10-2 (even though they aren't 10-2 yet)
- NY6 Bowl (even though they haven't made it yet)
- Top 10 team (even though that doesn't mean anything yet)
- Great recruits (as if LSU hasn't constantly got great recruits)
- Next season will be the time.

There is the excuse list left.

Notice how nothing on that has been achieved yet. But, if you point out the fact that LSU's offense is ranked near the bottom of the SEC and entire nation, then you just hate Orgeron. Facts are off limits, but hypothetical scenarios are fine.

comprehend your post just fine dude

For someone that comprehends it you sure are misrepresenting it. Once again I'll speak slowly so even you can understand.

Strength and conditioning seems to be an issue so maybe they need to look at how offensive linemen are handled.

Fundamentals seem to be lacking. Due to either starting before they're ready or not teaching proper footwork.

Steve needs to go back to the drawing board and figure out something that works with the talent he has available.

How you got that I'm not holding people accountable out of that is completely bewildering but I'm done trying so have a great day.

I wasn't evaluating the program. Maybe you should. It might give you some perspective.

I agree. I thought I was being optimistic when I predicted 9-3 back in August.

Still on track for 9-3 if we lose to Aggy (they are due) but I did not see us going into the Bama game this year with so much on the line.

Will be interesting to see how they finish. 2015 started out great but November was awful. Granted, Miles was at the end of his rope whereas O probably will be given at least a couple more chances to beat Bama. The A&M game and the bowl game will tell us a lot about O and this team. They can finish strong, recruit well and build some momentum for next year.

I just want to know why, in your opinion, does everyone need to improve but the head coach?

Some people are going to wait and see. I made my position known. O is not going to do anything right now with the coaching staff. If anything happens it will probably be after NSD. I will wait to judge at that time. The main thing I'm judging O on right now is recruiting.

Right...

so that's why I'll wait to judge what O does about the coaching staff when it's time for that. Nothing will be or should be done right now.

Bruh... You got it backwards, we're two games INTO the season.

And hell yea we are in contention for the playoffs my man, I'm thinking we could even get a 4 or 5 seed!!!

If you are going to try and make a clever post, at least get it correct. LSU basketball has played three games.

Again I mentioned 3 areas that I thought needed improvement. That's hardly everyone. I said what I had to say about the offense. If you don't like it that's on you. Now do you care to comment on the content of my post or are you going to continue trying to troll?

Yes the offense is under performing like with Miles.
Not exactly.
Miles had one year, 2014, during tDecline similar to Ed's 2 offenses with ppg rank in the 80s.
2012 was in the mid50s iirc, 2013 #23, and 2015 was #37, which SE managed a #65 rank with the next year.

quote:

If Orgeron makes no staff changes on the Offensive side of the ball this offsseason then he will be well on his way down the same path as Miles took.

If you think Miles was fired for offense, it was a 2X better ranked offense than what's been trotted out the last couple years.
I think he was fired for losing to Bama and some pretty good Arky and OM(bought) teams, not just offense.

Les was fired for his failure, over 10 years or whatever, to bring together an offense that's worth a damn.

The offenses under Miles ranked around the 80's from 2010 to 2015, except for two seasons. His worst year was 2009 where the offense was ranked 112th in total offense and 76th in scoring offense.

But his last 3 full seasons, 2013, 14 & 15, the offense was ranked 35, 80 & 39. And they were ranked 23, 76 & 43 in scoring offense. In 2016, the offense was ranked 59th in total offense and 68th in scoring offense.

Since o has been the full time head coach, the offenses have been ranked 54th in total offense and 76th in scoring offense in 2017. And 103rd in total offense and 86th in scoring offense so far this season.

We aren't getting anything different from the teams that o has been in charge of compared to the teams that Miles was in charge of. As a matter of fact, the offensive numbers have dropped since o was named the head coach.

These stats were found on cfbstats.com

Miles teams
09: Total Offense 112th - Scoring Offense 76th / 24.8 ppg
10: Total Offense 86th - Scoring Offense 45th / 29.7 ppg
11: Total Offense 86th - Scoring Offense 17th / 35.7ppg
12: Total Offense 87th - Scoring Offense 57th / 29.8 ppg
13: Total Offense 35th - Scoring Offense 23rd / 35.8 ppg
14: Total Offense 80th - Scoring Offense 76th / 27.6 ppg
15: Total Offense 39th - Scoring Offense 43rd / 32.8 ppg

Combined year
16: Total Offense 59th - Scoring Offense 68th / 28.3 ppg

Orgerons teams
17: Total Offense 54th - Scoring Offense 76th / 27.2 ppg
18: Total Offense 103rd - Scoring Offense 86th / 26.7 ppg

Don't be so obtuse. In O's career he never achieved ten wins or a top ten team. Therefore, he personally might have a great year. LSU on the other hand, has had many ten win seasons and top ten rankings, top five ranking, and better years.

If ten wins was this great achievement, we should have saved a lot of money and kept Les.
