Agree you have to swing.

But how about a little appreciation for the difference between pitch recognition at 10 years old and a 95 MPH fastball. Clearly, Watson was looking off speed there. Hitting at this level isn't simple.

When you’re on the road and it’s questionable calling by the umps you have to swing if it’s close. If not you will get rung up every time.

Like when McDonald gave up the GS to Stanford? He was a GREAT Tiger and pitcher but the coach can NOT control every aspect of a pitcher or hitter when they are at the plate. You think Skip told him not to do that? Mainieri is blamed for everything but winning.

You are wasting your time with him, he hates Manieri and any amount of reason will be attacked with cliches
