To be fair, whether the evidence from the trial is admissible or not is irrelevant to the ncaa. But I understand playing that angle.

I would assume Woodward finds it harder & harder to back wade up when his lawyers are leaking statements like they just did, because yesterday’s article hurt their feelings

Been saying this all along. The NCAA has nothing it can use against Wade. The move to refer it to the Independent Review Panel is a punt because it cannot prove Wade committed a major violation under the current form of NCAA Bylaws.
Said it from day 1, when the Wade tapes were excluded by the trial judge in the Dawkins case, the NCAA wasn't going to have anything it could use.

It's been 2 years. If they had something, we'd be seeing some real action. As it is, so far the entire affair has been a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing.
